How We Light the Pathway to College
The Charles Drew Memorial Scholarship Fund (CDMSF) is a 501(c)3 organization that was established to provide opportunities for Maryland citizens residing and attending school in Prince George’s County, Md. CDMSF believes in access and opportunity for all seeking to further their education on the collegiate level.
In addition to scholarship opportunities for deserving students , we offer a broad range of outreach and educational programs to help students and their families navigate through the rigors of college life. Our award winning Project Enrich program recruits, interviews, and mentors qualified African-American students from the 9th through the 12th grades.
We raise funds from corporations, foundations and individuals within the Washington, DC metropolitan area. These funds are then given to qualifying students annually to support their financial aid budgets upon acceptance to college.
